Take the overwhelm out of what to eat — for good

With so much information on food and diet — and a myriad of trends — it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of sources telling you what you should and shouldn’t eat, only to be left confused and disempowered about how to actually reach your goals.

“The Bay Area offers a lot of paths to wellness, but I think Dr. Moafi’s may be the best.”
— Rupam S., San Francisco, CA

But the issue isn't you. It’s the fact that there’s no “one-size-fits-all” solution for diet and nutrition.

Diet must be personalized for long-term health and weight management.

You are unique, so your food choices must also be unique and fit your lifestyle.

The Yin & Yang of Nutrition online course will empower you with the knowledge and tools to determine exactly what you should eat and avoid — without feeling deprived or overwhelmed. You’ll also learn ancient practices to help you improve your gut health and achieve your modern health goals.

My Journey to the Yin & Yang of Nutrition

Having struggled with digestive issues for most of my life, I’d tried nearly every trend and followed some of the most advanced science in food and nutrition.

Though I could always intuitively tell whether something was ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ for my body, I continued to struggle with my gut health — until I discovered the life-changing insights of Classical Chinese Nutrition from my teacher and 88th generation Daoist Master, Dr. Jeffrey Yuen.

What I learned through my personal journey is that the key to improving your gut health lies in understanding the effects of food on your body, not in what you’re taught by any research or trend.

And just like the seasons change, so must your food choices to adjust to the constant changes in your body and life.

My passion for food combined with 16+ years of study with Dr. Yuen, including a PhD in Classical Chinese Medicine rooted in his teachings, have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of food energetics. This allows me to know exactly how to target my gut health and help my patients, clients — and you — do the same.

The combination of Classical Chinese Dietetics with my personal experience growing up in a Persian family where food was a source of love and medicine have helped me develop a unique and soulful approach to healing.

Today I look at food as nourishment, knowing exactly what I need to eat, when. I love to cook and bake authentically healthy meals and snacks for myself, my friends and my family.

I’m excited to show you how simple eating well can be, and to teach you how to heal yourself with food and enjoy eating again.

Enjoying Food as Medicine

This is exactly why I created the one-of-a-kind Yin & Yang of Nutrition course — an online course to help you understand food as medicine and find nourishment and healing in everything you eat.

Together, we’ll dive deep into Yoga & Qi Gong practices to cultivate balance and energy, as well as clear guidelines to help you customize your diet for optimal gut health.

By looking at food in its entirety — from what it does for your physical body to how it shifts the energetics within your body — you’ll learn to make conscious food choices that’ll help you look and feel better every day.
